Is the Flic serial number available in the Flic-App?
-
I can't find it there. If it is not there it would be useful as part of the settings.

Dumb response - asking why serial number is required. Clearly not a good developer - It should be patently obvious that Homekit uses button Serial number not Hub button name.
Therefore, if you have a number of buttons it becomes a chore to identify which is which, e.g. lounge appliance button or kitchen appliance button -
@derek-erb I get your point. It's written on the back side of the button under the battery (so you have to open it), but it would be more accessible in the app. I'll see what we can do to include this serial number!

@Emil when Flics are used as HomeKit controls they appear in the Home app with their serial number as the only identifier. We need the serial number somewhere in the Flic app in order to identify which Flic button we are configuring in the Home app and which Flic button it corresponds to. Help!

Hi, could anybody from support answer my question? I need a solution for this issue to move on with my Flic integration. Thanks.

@Emil, could you tell me if there is any plan to include the serial number (ID) in the Flic-App? Regards.

Hi @Emil, I want to connect Flic users buttons to Zappier. Zappier asks for email+password. Once is configured at zappier, Button ID is available as parameter. It would be good to know in the Flic app settings the button ID for troubleshooting and issue reporting.

Hi. You can see the serial number for a Flic hub. Any specific reason you want it for Flic buttons?
