Help setting up Flic Duo for Apple HomeKit
-
I am at my wits end and cannot figure this thing out. I have the Flic Mini base along with a Flic Duo. I have two smart plugs installed from Kasa that are in my Apple Home. I want the Duo top button to turn on the plug and the Duo bottom button to turn off the plug. I cannot get the app to read the QR code for the plugs nor will it seem to detect them when looking for them in Apple Home. They are in my apple home and I can control them there but I can't get anything to work in the Flic App.
What am I doing wrong?

I have the QR codes
Have you tried typing in the numbers manually instead of scanning the QR code?
-
@Tutrix That’s the thing. Mine are supposed to be Matter compatible. I have the QR codes for them and everything but the Flic app won’t recognize the codes either.

@tweedledope I have five Kasa plugs, but unfortunately, none of them are Matter-compatible. So I use Alexa routines to turn them on and off with my Flic buttons. Maybe that's an alternative for you if it doesn't work with Matter.

@Emil Yeah. There are two categories in the app under Matter devices (there is no HomeKit or Kasa option). When I go to either Matter or Matter Lights nothing shows up. I see my Govee Floor Lamp but not my other Matter devices such as the Kasa outlets.

@tweedledope Are you trying to add the Kasa devices as Matter devices to the Flic Hub, using the Flic app?
