Button presses do not seem to be passed to Alexa - Routines do not run
-
@randyth Have you seen issues with other services yourself or can this be read about somewhere online at other sources?
-
This is an Amazon issue and it's affecting many other services such as routines triggered by Shelly Buttons, Virtual Buttons, and Amazon's own Ring Doorbells.
I've sent a message about it to Amazon. Perhaps we all should?

@Emil Interesting, that is good to know.
Thanks

@spamoni4 That's the response HTTP status code they give us when we send an event to their API.
-
@Emil That sounds good. Please keep us informed.
How did you know it responded with a 202? The history in Alexa makes it appear that nothing happens.
Just curios

Same thing happened to me. Alexa responds successfully with 202 Accepted whenever we send in a button press event, but the routine does not trigger. I sent in a support ticket to Alexa Developer support. I hope they reply soon...

I woke up to the same problem. All of my smart home devices except Flic are working after the outage. I have the exact same problem/behavior as the original poster on this thread.

Yea, I am hoping that I will not have to set things up again, I am hoping it will just work once things are ironed out.
I did reboot my router as well, but nothing seems to work. I use the Wyze products and they do not have a button, but I am working on a 3D-Print model to convert a contact Sensor into a button. I am doing this because all of my Wyze Products seem to work still. The Flic Button was controlling Wyze Bulbs.
I also use Home Assistant and other devices there. Those seem to be working as well. Just trying not to add additional complexities.
I know, Hope is not a strategy, but it is all I have now. Maybe someone from Flic, if they frequent the forums can provide something.

@spamoni4 the same thing is happening to me. I tried a factory reset but it didn’t help - now I’m left with the task of setting up all 39 routines again once this is working. Ugh!
