iOS App crashing on 'advanced' settings for twist
-
@oskar sent support a video.
A new twist can't connect either - brand new out of box. Tried to remove hue bridge, app crashes. It's broken. Still.
-
ok to add. The app isn't fixed. I go to add providers - click hue and it crashes.
-
@oskar ok the app isn't crashing now but half of my twists dont work.
I have 8 in my house. Some work fine, some dont.
The LED segments light up, the hubs LED flashes when the twist button is pressed.
Thought it would be the app but it's not.
Deleted the app, rebooted the hub, reinstalled the app. Deleted the twist off the app, restarted the app.
I tried it with a simple Alexa routine - so not connected to my Hue hubs at all - purely alexa 'when button is pressed' and nothing happens (even though it should turn off my air purifier' but it doesn't work. Commands are not working.
So now what? Why are only 2 of my twists working and the other 5 are not - a hub issue?

Hi!
Sorry about this, we have uploaded a new version of the Flic app that fixes this and we are currently awaiting approval!

@rick yeah I got the same response from them. Sucks for us I guess

@atticusvayne got a reply from support who think it’s an app issue on iOS.
Any android users with this issue?
-
I just got my twist over the weekend and same issue, no matter what if you click an advanced option the whole app goes away. I contacted customer support but still no word. Still no fixes from the community??

Guessing iOS updates have screwed with the app.
Also noticed half of my twists are now not working at all. Their LEDs work, the hub LED blinks to show it’s received the command but nothing happens.

@rick The same problem on iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS17.4

@rick I’ve had the same problem on an iPhone 13 Pro
