"Could not connect" issues

I am unable to connect to my flic hub with the SDK. Currently on firmware 3.0.9. When trying to connect in the SDK a red dot is displayed on the hub's name when connecting, and I cannot change it to green by turning on the flic hub SDK within the hub settings on the iPhone app.
I have tried manually resetting the hub, but am still having issues.

@Emil I tried using chrome and microsoft edge. But yes the switch is on, however a red dot is still displayed when the ip address is found in the web app

Yes the switch in the app settings must be turned on. You could test manually entering the IP address also (it's displayed in hub settings as well in the app). Otherwise what browser are you using? Chrome and Firefox should work fine.
