Buttons disconnect every few days

Every few days or so I'll notice that the buttons no longer seem to be connected to my phone. To fix I restart my phone and the buttons begin working as usual. I notice this happening on all buttons simultaneously. Any way to keep them connected at all times?
I'm using a Nexus 4 that's plugged in at all times running LineageOS 15.1.

Hello Flic team. We are experiencing a similar issue on android 6.0.1 where the button will disconnect, particularly if there is a bluetooth speaker also paired with the device. Can you shed some light on what logs we can collect to help diagnose the problem?

It's obviously a bug in either the OS or the Bluetooth chip in the phone. Can you post a hci snoop log that records from the phone boots until it doesn't work?
