Flics not compatible with Philips hue after April 18th fw update.
-
Just got my new phone and started to pair my Flics to new phone. As I only had three Flics connected to my old phone I figured that I would just start from point zero by adding the Flics then select providers and lastly reconfigure my old actions.
Pairing the Flics went fine but the I hit the wall with with Philips hue. The Flic app found rye Hue Bridge but couldn't make a connection.
Little bit of Googling and I found this:
http://www2.meethue.com/en-us/support/firmware-update/So now it seems that with the latest Hue firmware update I can't connect Flics to the Hue Bridge unless the Flic app is updated with the new security demands by Philips.
At this moment Flic is not in the list of compatible apps.
The main reason for me to buy Flics was to control my Hue lights so at this moment my Flics are completely useless.
And to make a matter even more tragicomic is that I ordered four more Flics couple of weeks ago to expand my light control and when they arrive in next week I have no use of them. -
hey, thanks. It works:)

it is working, but to use scenes you have to create one(sceene) and add your lights through the hue app.

@ignatiushsu I'm sorry to hear you are still having issues with this. Could you tell us which firmware your Philips Hue bridge is running? You can see it in the official Philips Hue app.

Got it working again with you instructions.
Thank you. -
Hi!
The app should work with the latest firmware, but we found that we had to search for the lights in the Philips Hue app and reset the provider in the Flic app before they started working again.
Could you please try to do this and let us know if that worked for you?
