@tony Android's Bluetooth team messed up the update to Android 9. The cached GATT db structure is erased for bonded devices after the update, so the API gives an empty list of GATT services, making it impossible to communicate with the GATT characteristics. The only way to make it work again seems to be to unbond the Bluetooth device from the system and then bond again.
@jhoward15 we migrated the latest app to the new permission system where the user explicitly needs to accept permissions at runtime. For old actions you need to simply re-save the action.
I can't seem to find this setting in the Flic app version 3.4.2
I'm running trough batteries like crazy and would like to try the passive mode to fix this.
Anyone have any idea where I can find this setting now exactly?
It's just a shame, this product is on the market for years, better integration and lower prices should make this a much better product.
As for now, I think I will let it go.
These flic buttons cost little to make, I know it's a business and understand they have to make a profit, lowering prices though and much better support would sell a lot more.
I also have a problem controlling wemo lights from flic app (when using the hub). I am using the same LAN. It works fine with my Wemo Switch but the flic app can't find my lights, even though they work fine with the wemo app.
