@Emil I found the error, and I'm not sure if I will admit it... But I had an old RPI running that I tested some flic buttons on some years ago (first release). Maybe I should clean up what I have running on my network...

Usually you assign the actions directly under the specific button. If you want to use Tasks, you can add a Task as an action under a button.

It says that the Twist is powered by 2x AAA in the blurb somewhere.

I have the same issue.

I'm having the same issue. Had to re-enable the skill after a very annoying debug session. This does not happen with other smart skills that I have.
Can someone please resolve this? This seems quite basic and should not happen.

Update on this:
I managed to create a workaround by using autohotkey program and creating a script:

WinActivate ; Use the window found by WinExist.

MsgBox, "Zoom Meeting" not open.
}

I turned that script to executable with autohotkey tools, created a short cut with hotkeys [ctr] + [alt] + [z].

Then configured my flic to send [ctr] + [alt] + [z] command.

Now finally I can toggle mute zoom call even when focus is on for example on a excel or browser.

I had this requirement and solved it by linking Zapier (Free account) (5 Zap limit I believe so if you need more perhaps not the right email option) and then using a service called Firetext (UK based) to deliver the text messages.

And yes it works 👍 .

You will need to pay for credits (the first 25 are free) £20 for 500 so depending on what you want this combination, as a way of using a flic button as an alert service, it works well.

However!! Zapier is not instant so if anyone knows of a service that will email instantly I would be interested (I will keep looking).

The reason I mention the delay is for those who are looking for a Panic Button Solution as the above combination can take between 30 seconds and a few (less than 5) minutes to deliver the text, the delay is with the Zapier free account, unfortunately. 😞

But if you need an alert as an email/text this workaround/combination is by far the simplest/cheapest I have found and it works :).

Hi. I don't really understand your problem.

Nowadays, you can set the button to operate in HID mode. In the Flic app, add a Keyboard Command action under Universal Actions.

@sturpe when you pair the Flic button in the Flic app, you need to press "pair" or "pair and connect" to any system dialog that appears. Otherwise it won't work.
